Online Only, Limited Release Remnant Style - repurposed from some of our beautiful remnant fabrics from past collections and brought back some of your all-time favourite styles—reimagined for a limited release.

The Joia Shirt Dress is a midi-length, button-through dress with a neat shirt collar. From the departure lounge to the office, the Joia dress is a transeasonal hero piece. Despite its elegance, the Joia Shirt Dress offers an exceedingly comfortable fit due to its short capped sleeves, dropped shoulder, gathered waist, and functional buttons that can be unbuttoned up to the waist seam. The dress is crafted from a silky ECOVERO blend - an ELKâ„¢ environmentally preferred fibre. Offered in the limited Tropea Print - an expressive monochrome graphic invoking organic movement and organic terrain pairs well with monochromatic hues as well as vibrant colours to add a fun pop.

The Tropea Print is a yardage print and the print placement will vary on each garment, making each piece unique.

62% ECOVEROâ„¢ Viscose 38% Viscose Rayon

This smooth, floaty fabric has a matte sheen that gives it the perfect versatility to dress up or down. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.

LENZINGâ„¢ ECOVEROâ„¢ Viscose is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are recognised by CanopyStyle and EU Ecolabel certification as meeting high standards for environmental practice. This includes a low risk of sourcing raw materials from ancient or endangered forests, and the recycling of water and chemicals in the processing stages. According to Higg's life cycle impact assessment data, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generate up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. 

Through our work with not-for-profit organisation Canopy, we are sourcing more than 95% of our viscose fibres from producers that have a green shirt rating according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. This rating is a reflection of Canopy's assessment of the producers' engagement with CanopyStyle audits, their contribution to conservation, innovation initiatives, sourcing policies, transparency and chemical management.

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
