Made from lightweight, semi sheer French linen, this soft, collarless, V neck shell jacket is designed for cooler evenings or for those that like to cover up more. Made as an easy outfitting option it is perfect over our tank styles and features subtle hook and eye fastenings if you want to do it up. The soft gathers at the front and back give fullness as the body cascades into a voluminous A-line silhouette. The wide sleeve can be cuffed and rolled and the high-low hem sits just around the hip. We love this style over the coordinating Lin dress or over a tank and jeans with trainers or sandals.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been crafted from a lightweight 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France.

Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear. Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production. They also act as the go between with the two factories where our garments are made, Suzhou Miaoyun Garment Co Ltd and Rugao Huaji Garment Factory.

Eastlink are one of our keenest producers in terms of producing more sustainable product. They are actively assisting us with communication between fibre producers and mills when we are sourcing the environmentally sustainable fabrics that will form our ranges in the future.

Both factories are members of Sedex and have undergone a SMETA social compliance audit.

Size and Fit

This soft, shell jacket has a relaxed fit through the body and regular fitting sleeves. Please choose your usual size. Linen will soften naturally with wear.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
