A reimagining of the classic T-shirt dress with modern shaping and thoughtful details. The Hanen Dress is crafted from soft 100% organic cotton jersey, this printed dress features a solid rib neckband and short sleeves with rolled cuffs. Double darts at the front and back waist create subtle shaping, while the midi-length skirt offers a comfortable, free-flowing silhouette. Comfortable enough for home, yet refined enough for the office, this dress pairs effortlessly with a tailored jacket and flats for an easy, polished look. The Lineal Print is a yardage print, meaning each piece is beautifully one-of-a-kind as print placement varies from garment to garment.

Material

100% Organic Cotton

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, protect waterways and and reduce water & nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton. The cotton fibre in this fabric was organically grown in India.

Maker

Manufacturer: Jimmy Fashions (Zhejiang, China)

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. 

Size and Fit

The Hanen Dress is a regular fit through the bust, flowing into a relaxed fit in the hip.

The key fit points for this dress are the bust, hip, and body length. 

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
