The Kayra Skirt is a classic Elk style made from smooth, sateen finish Organic Cotton. A full skirt look with a flat front waistband and elasticated back, we love the versatility of a statement skirt. Wear it with a t-shirt and sandals or dress it up with the matching tank and statement jewellery for evenings.

Material

100% Organic Cotton

This fabric has a smooth, matte surface with a structured form giving the final garment a sophisticated, crisp appearance. Cotton fabrics are cool, comfortable and breathable.

Certified organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.

Cotton is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

The organic cotton for this fabric was sourced from India.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

This is a regular fitting skirt through the waist that flows into an A-line design. The elasticated back band helps with versatile fit and comfort, we recommend you take your usual size. The key measurement is the waist so please check this for best fit. This piece can also be taken up if it is too long.
