Product Details

The Noorden Pant is a classic pleated pant, elevated by ELK's considered design features. The fixed waist band of the pants allows for a range of size versatility thanks to tab details. The Noorden Pant is crafted from a luxurious twill fabric, selected for its gentle stretch and soft finish. For a contemporary suiting ensemble, pair with the Noorden Vest. Offered in classic Moonstone, and Black colourways.

Material

64% Organic Cotton 33% TENCEL™ Refibra 3% Elastane

This is a traditional twill fabric with comfortable stretch and a soft texture. 

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, protect waterways and reduce nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton. The cotton fibre in this fabric was organically grown in Turkey. 

TENCEL™ Lyocell x REFIBRA™ is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF) derived from a combination of sustainably sourced wood pulp and a minimum of 30% recycled cotton waste. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.

TENCEL™ Lyocell x REFIBRA™ fibres follow an environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which produces fibres using high resource efficiency and low environmental impact compared to conventional methods of production. The spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%. 

Elastane is a synthetic, man-made fibre, constructed to provide extra stretch to a finished textile.

Manufacturer: Yao Fa Garment Factory (Shanghai, China)

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production. They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.

Size and Fit

The Noorden Pant is a regular fit throughout the garment. Notably, it has an entirely fixed waist.
