Linen trench coat in spot print.

The Ero Trench Coat is a classic trench shape – double breasted, with an exaggerated lapel and collar and a dropped shoulder. With natural corozo buttons, the coat has a long sleeve with a large cuff, wide welt side pockets and side splits. With a self sash tie belt and fabric belt loops, the coat also has a back hem pleat. Crafted from a printed linen, the coat is durable and breathable, and the fabric will naturally have slubs

  • Please note, the pockets of this garment are tacked closed to keep the shape of the garment in production & transport. To remove, carefully use a seam ripper to unpick these stitches or extra carefully with a fine pointed pair of scissors.

Material

100% Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen. a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France.

Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Maker

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production. They also act as the go between with the factories where our garments are made, Suzhou Miaoyun Garment Co Ltd and Yao Fa Garment Factory. Eastlink are one of our keenest producers in terms of producing more sustainable product. They are actively assisting us with communication between fibre producers and mills to help us source materials that meet our ELK Preferred Material guidelines.

Both factories are members of Sedex and have undergone a SMETA social compliance audit.
