40% Nylon 30% Alpaca 30% Merino Wool

This knitted blend has temperature regulating qualities, with wool retaining warmth when needed, while remaining cool and breathable on the body. Alpaca creates a fluffy finish for that cosy, comfortable feel. The nylon allows for durability that will keep your knitwear lasting longer.

The merino wool in this blend is sourced from verified non-mulesed sheep in South Africa, and our alpaca wool is sourced from farms in Peru.

Wool and alpaca fibres are natural, renewable and biodegradable.

These knits were made by Hop Hing Woollen Sweaters Factory. This was a family-owned business established by Mr Tsui Senior in 1962, and later owned and managed by his son Jeff. Recently, Jeff has decided to move on to new endeavours, resulting in the closure of the Hop Hing business. Though sad, we are grateful for the wonderful relationship we were able to build over the years.

Hop Hing had a head office, development team and sampling in Hong Kong and manufactured at Singtex Knitting Factory in Dongguan, China. Singtex continue to be in operation and making knitwear for ELK.

Singtex has undergone SMETA social compliance audits, which
are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing
and wages.
