For a beautiful summer dress option we have designed this sleeveless Lin dress using French linen and crafted it into a tank style with detailed pin tucks on the bodice. The tucks finish at the waist before falling into a full volume skirt which is lined to lower thigh for modesty. An invisible zip at the back, crew neck and pockets make this dress a great option for wearing right through Spring and Summer. We love this dress with trainers and bright earrings for a simple colour blocking outfit with tailored detail.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been crafted from a lightweight 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France.

Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear. Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production. They also act as the go between with the two factories where our garments are made, Suzhou Miaoyun Garment Co Ltd and Rugao Huaji Garment Factory.

Eastlink are one of our keenest producers in terms of producing more sustainable product. They are actively assisting us with communication between fibre producers and mills when we are sourcing the environmentally sustainable fabrics that will form our ranges in the future.

Both factories are members of Sedex and have undergone a SMETA social compliance audit.

Size and Fit

This is a regular fitting dress due to the design of the bodice and the internal lining which is a straight cut. Take your usual size and check the bust measurement and internal waist and hip measurements.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
