The Metalen Tank is a cropped, fully lined top in a gold foil print on natural coloured linen. The tank features wide straps with bra keepers and bust darts, with a scooped front and back neckline. In 100% linen, the tank is breathable and durable, and softens with wear.

Material

100% Linen with gold foil print

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen with a gold foil print. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong, and the gold foil adds a subtle shine. Linen wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Maker

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production. They also act as the go between with the factories where our garments are made, Suzhou Miaoyun Garment Co Ltd and Yao Fa Garment Factory. Eastlink are one of our keenest producers in terms of producing more sustainable product. They are actively assisting us with communication between fibre producers and mills to help us source materials that meet our ELK Preferred Material guidelines.

Both factories are members of Sedex and have undergone a SMETA social compliance audit.
