Linen shirt dress.

The Neza Shirt Dress is a midi length, button through style with a concealed placket and a collar stand. With a dropped shoulder, the short sleeve can be scrunched and secured with the sleeve tab. There are fabric belt loops at the waist with a self-fabric sash tie. The dress also features details like a back yoke with tucks either side and a curved front and back hem, and can be worn unbuttoned as a shirt jacket. Crafted from linen, the dress is durable and breathable, and softens with wear.

Material

100% Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France.

Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.
