This 100% French linen jacket is a beautifully designed piece with a flared back feature. Made in linen it can pair with the matching Fiene Pant for a take on modern suiting, layer over a classic tee and wear with jeans or roll up the full-length relaxed sleeves, to create a more relaxed look. Elastic is encased in the small of the back with tucks to bring body shape to the piece. Collarless, unlined and slightly cropped in length the Fiene Jacket is available in black or bronze brown and is perfect for both day and evening ensembles.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits. 

Size and Fit

Designed for a regular fit with an A-line flare at the hem. The back elastic panel is designed to create body shape and structure. The key fit points to check for best size are the bust and the length as it is slightly cropped. Linen will naturally soften with wear.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
