Material

93% Organic Cotton 7% Nylon

Knitted into a checkered pattern, this soft smooth yarn is cosy and perfect for winter. The cotton fibre makes the finished garment comfortable and breathable to wear.

Certified organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.

The cotton fibre used in this yarn was sourced from Turkey.

Cotton is a renewable and biodegradable fibre. 

Maker

These knits were made by Hop Hing Woollen Sweaters Factory who we have been working with since 2007. They are a family-owned business established by the late Mr Tsui Senior in 1962. Now owned and managed by his son Jeff, they have their head office, development team and sampling in Hong Kong and their main manufacturing in Dongguan, China.

We have a great, long-term working relationship with them. We are actively working to source more sustainable yarns with them through Novetex and UPW.

The factory is a member of Sedex and undergoes regular social compliance audits. 

Size and Fit

The Karo Scarf is one size, measuring 200cm in length and 40cm in width.

Care Instructions

• Hand wash
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Cool iron
• Dry cleanable
• Cold hand wash using eco-friendly detergent
• Do not rub, wring or spin dry
• Squeeze out excess water
• Gently pull wet garment into shape
• Dry flat in shade
• Cool iron on reverse
• Knitwear can shrink up to 3cm in length and width however after pressing and wear the yarn will relax and grow, which our production team consider with each design.
