Featuring the beautiful Vogel print, the Gresja Dress is a lightweight, sheer and floaty midi-length style dress with with a set-in slip.  The lightness of the fabric with the full-length sleeve makes it easy to wear with a jacket. The skirt gathers at the waist and pockets sit within the side seams of the dress. A versatile one-and-done dress to easily transitions from day to night.

Material

Main: 100% Viscose

Slip: 95% ECOVERO™ Viscose 5% Elastane

Lightweight and breathable, this fabric features a textured surface while remaining soft to the touch and is well suited to trans-seasonal wear. It is a sheer fabric with a lovely hand feel and nice, fluid movement. We are working with not-for-profit organisation Canopy to ensure that all our forest-based fabrics are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry and preference those with a green shirt ranking according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report.

Our partnership with Canopy includes a commitment to ensure all of our viscose products have not been sourced from ancient and endangered forests. Our traceability systems confirm the viscose fibres in this garment are from green shirt rated producers.

The fabric used for the slip is a soft, comfortable jersey fabric. It contains a blend of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres and elastane for a stretch finish.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits. 

Size and Fit

The dress has a regular fit around the bust and then a more relaxed fit from the waist down. Designed to sit midi-length, the key fit points to check for best size are around the bust, the waist (relaxed) and the length. For the slip, check the armhole drop and the body length. All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference.
