This prestigious award, presented by IMG, celebrates the exceptional talent and creativity of people who have contributed to the growth and global promotion of the Australian fashion industry. Nominees and winners are chosen by a voting panel of 30 fashion industry leaders.

This is the first year IMG has introduced the new category, Sustainable Innovation. Presented by GlamCorner, this award recognises brands that are pioneering sustainable practices, implementing strategic goals, or demonstrating leadership in sustainability.

Marnie Goding, ELK CoFounder and Creative Director, was in Sydney to receive the award on behalf of herself and Adam Koniaras.

"A big thank-you to the Australian Fashion Laureate, @fashionweekaus@imgmodels and @glamcornerau for recognising the efforts Australian brands are taking towards the production of more sustainable fashion and honouring us with the Sustainable Innovation award for 2019. We continue to be inspired by the work of our fellow nominees @bassike@kitx and @outlanddenim".
