Product Details

The Haki Dress is an easy t-shirt dress style crafted from buttery organic cotton. The A-line silhouette has a swing shape with fixed, rolled cuffs, and an inverted box pleat at the back, plus handy side pockets. The all day comfort of a t shirt style, meets a bold seasonal print - achieving all-day comfort with a statement finish. Perfect for balmy days, or as the base layer for denim jackets and summer tailoring. Printed organic cottons are yardage prints. The print placement is unique to each garment.

  • Soft A-line shape offers all day comfort
  • Inverted box pleat at the back for added shape
  • Functional side seam pockets
  • Made from organic cotton jersey
  • Manufactured at a factory sourcing up to 50% of its electricity from rooftop solar

Material

100% Organic Cotton

Smooth, organic cotton yarns are knitted together to create this breathable, semi-structured jersey fabric. Soft to the touch, this fabric has an opaque appearance that eliminates the necessity for layering on warmer days.

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, protect waterways and reduce nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton.

The cotton fibre in this fabric was organically grown in India.

Maker

Manufacturer: Jimmy Fashions (Zhejiang, China)

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source.

The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.

Size and Fit

The Haki Dress is a regular fit across the top, flaring out with an A-line silhouette.

The key fit points to check are the shoulder, bust and the sleeve.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
