Product Details

Cord dress.

The Luja Dress is an above-knee length dress crafted from fine cord. The dress features a half placket with two concealed buttons, that sits apart at the neck and cannot be buttoned up entirely. Details also include a dropped shoulder and back yoke, and twin needle stitching at the back and on the forearm. The cord fabric is soft and warm to the touch.

Material

100% Organic Cotton

This organic cotton fabric is woven into a fine corduroy texture, adding a slight structure to the finished garment.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.

The organic cotton for this fabric was sourced from India.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure a safe working environment.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.
