Product Details

The Anneli Trench Coat is a classic trench style made from luxurious French linen for a refined finish. The double breasted front is accentuated by an exaggerated lapel and collar for a more relaxed look, which can also be closed across the body for an alternative styling option. Elsewhere, the dropped shoulder adds to the relaxed look, while side pockets, belt loops with a removable fabric belt added to the functional appeal. The long sleeves feature a wide cuff which can be rolled up to allow for another styling option. This coat is great for wearing with all number of different outfits throughout the cooler months and beyond, thanks to the breathable, natural linen.

Please note, the pockets of this garment are tacked closed to keep the shape of the garment in production & transport. To remove, carefully use a seam ripper to unpick these stitches or extra carefully with a fine pointed pair of scissors.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been made from 100% French Linen; natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear. Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

This coat has been designed for a relaxed fit. It is unstructured and unlined. For those who prefer a neater fit, we recommend to go down a size. Linen relaxes and softens with wear.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
