Luxe multi wear trench-inspired shirt dress-coat.

Crafted from sustainable Naia™ Acetate, the Vail Shirt Dress-Coat is a versatile multi wear style. Layer over workwear or weekend wear as a luxe outerwear piece or button up and cinch the belt to wear as a long-sleeved shirt dress. Design details reference trench coat-inspired features like a faux back yoke vent, wide welt front pockets and self sash belt and belt loops. With a dropped shoulder, side seam pockets and exaggerated side splits that hit around the knee, the seams of the dress are also bound inside for a clean finish. The acetate mid-weight twill fabric is smooth and fluid, draping across the body with a subtle sheen.

Material

100% Naia™ Acetate

The twill fabric is cool, smooth and fluid, draping across the body with a subtle sheen. Naia™ cellulosic fibre is responsibly sourced from sustainably managed forests and produced in a closed-loop process in the United States. We choose to use this fibre because of Naia's™ approach to sustainably managed resources; high safety, social, and environmental standards; and a low environmental impact. Naia™ cellulosic fibre is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.
