The Krava Short Dress is a v-neck batwing sleeve dress, featuring the deep green Malachite Print, inspired by the distinctive, varying green mineral bands that run through the malachite stone. The Krava Short Dress features considered details throughout, including statement cuffs, centre front and back seams, and gathers along the front and back of the waist seam. Crafted from a silky ECOVERO™ blend, this Krava Short Dress has an endlessly wearable cut suited to work and weekend dressing alike.

The Krava Short Dress is a regular fit in the bust, flowing into a relaxed fit in the waist and hip. The length of the dress finishes just below the knee.

Lightweight and floaty, this fabric feels like silk as it fluidly drapes around the body. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are recognised by CanopyStyle and EU Ecolabel certification as meeting high standards for environmental practice. This includes a low risk of sourcing raw materials from ancient or endangered forests, and the recycling of water and chemicals in the processing stages. According to Higg's life cycle impact assessment data, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generate up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. 


Through our work with not-for-profit organisation Canopy, we are sourcing more than 95% of our viscose fibres from producers that have a green shirt rating according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. This rating is a reflection of Canopy's assessment of the producers' engagement with CanopyStyle audits, their contribution to conservation, innovation initiatives, sourcing policies, transparency and chemical management.

  • Warm iron on reverse. 1cm to 3cm shrinkage in length will occur on the first wash. Once ironed the fabric will relax and return to original hand feel and appearance.

With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
