B Corp Certification is an independent, rigorous evaluation process that assesses businesses across five key categories:

Becoming a B-Corp requires passing multiple evaluation stages and answering close to 300 questions—a testament to the comprehensive nature of this process. It’s not just a label; it’s a validation of our dedication to social and environmental responsibility.

We achieved a score of 100.6, significantly surpassing the 80 points required for certification*. To put this in perspective:

The median score for Australian companies is 83.5.
The median score for the retail/wholesale sector is 80.8.
Companies of our size typically score 77.0.

This means we scored 20% to 25% higher than these benchmarks and outperformed in all five evaluation categories, sometimes by more than 100%. Key contributors to our success included:

Being powered 100% by renewable electricity.

*Each benchmark is calculated as the median of companies who have greater than 75% completion in that given section
