Recycled polyester is a lower impact material compared to its virgin counterpart, and is made from post-industrial and post-consumer waste like plastic bottles. We choose to use recycled rather than new as part of our commitment to use preferred fibres according to our ELK Preferred Materials Guide.

Maker

These pieces are made in India by family owned and operated company Ellevana. We have had a strong working relationship with the company's founder for many years. We have a third-party agent who represents ELK's interests on transparency, quality and operational standards with several of our makers in India, including Ellevana.
