ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for our next Sales Coordinator to support the smooth, efficient operation of our wholesale business, proactively identifying opportunities to maximise sales results and enabling in-field sales team to operate effectively, efficiently & independently.

This role is responsible for servicing a defined wholesale customer segment; being the subject matter expert in our online Business to Business ordering portal; and providing proactive, collaborative problem solving, calendar management, reporting, data analysis and actionable insights to the broader team.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • efficiently utilise systems, processes & data insights to proactively seek & encourage sales

  • build strong, trusting & collaborative relationships across the team & wholesale partners

  • utilise your fashion, product, sustainability & wholesale knowledge to influence sales results & relationships

  • maintain exceptional service consistent with our brand values

  • proactively problem solve challenges as they arise

This is a full time, hybrid role based in our Preston office in Melbourne - we are open to considering part time or flexible arrangements, providing we can maintain 5 days coverage Monday - Friday. We are unable to consider sponsorship or 100% remote work for this role.

You take a great deal of pride in your ability to operate with a high degree of organisation, speed, attention to detail and time management in line with the wholesale & team calendar.  You’re tech savvy, you embrace & use systems to your advantage and come equipped with at least 1 years’ experience working in a related role.

STORE MANAGER - ELK CARLTON

We are looking for an extraordinary and passionate Retail Store Manager to lead and inspire a highly capable Assistant Store Manager and a team of experienced retail stylists. You share a love for our sustainable range, unique aesthetic and align with our core values. You are committed to delivering exceptional service and a consistent and memorable ELK shopping experience. Your people management experience, superior organisational skills and mentoring abilities will be essential for taking this stunning store to all new heights!   

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Delivering exceptional service and the ELK experience to existing and prospective customers

  • Maintaining loyal customer base and actively building community connections

  • Outfitting, styling, upselling and onselling our timeless products by engaging customers with aesthetic features and sustainable benefits 

  • Owning and driving smooth and efficient store operations

  • Coaching, mentoring and elevating team members by consistently leading by example

  • Ensuring all operations are effective, productive and in line with expectations

  • Analysing store and team performance and implementing change for ongoing growth and development

  • Managing rosters and wages to sales expenditure

  • Merchandising and maintenance of store visual presentation in line with guidelines

  • Effective and well received management and training of team members to optimise performance and retention

  • Talent scouting and interviewing potential new joiners

  • Living and breathing ELK as a true brand ambassador

What We'll Love About You:

  • Experience managing and leading a team within a retail (or similar) environment essential

  • Proven experience overseeing the effective and profitable daily operations of a retail store ensuring optimum efficiency, productivity, and performance to budgets

  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a natural flair for making genuine connections with others

  • Ability to excel in a team environment, nurturing and supporting those around you
