Wrap dress.

The Edita Wrap Dress is a long-sleeved, midi-length wrap dress in a slight A-line shape. The dress has internal and external self-fabric ties for the wrap function, and a waist seam around the body. With a raglan seam, the long sleeve has a cuff and tucks at the back of the sleeve and a button and elastic loop closure. There are also side seam pockets. The dress is crafted from a TENCEL™ fabric with a self-stripe that gives a slight crinkle effect, and the fabric has some weight to it with a silky hand feel.

This fabric is crafted from 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell woven into a striped texture that creates a crinkle effect. The soft, breathable nature of TENCEL™ Lyocell gives the finished fabric a silk-like touch, while offering a medium-weight that is perfect for transeasonal pieces.

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres have gained a commendable reputation for their environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibres with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%.

With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
