40% Lyocell 40% Bamboo 20% Organic Cotton

This fabric is lightweight and breathable, with a smooth, luxurious finish.

Lyocell fibre is derived from wood pulp, using water and non-hazardous chemicals to process the pulp into a textile fibre. The lyocell process is known for being lower in water use than other MMCF processes, such as viscose. It also provides for a finished fabric with strength and durability, as well as a silk-like touch.

Bamboo is fast growing and requires minimal water, pesticides or fertilisers, making it a more environmentally responsible fibre.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
