Product Details

Uniform dressing receives a feminine update with our Yenna Shirt. Crafted from light and luxurious French linen with a curved hem and slim collar, the feminine silhouette is accentuated by a slight dropped shoulder and regular-width cuffs which can be rolled for a more relaxed look. The light linen is easy to tuck into a pair of pants or a flowing skirt too, allowing for added versatility in styling. If you were looking for a fresh perspective on a classic white shirt, this is it.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been made from 100% French Linen; natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear. Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown Cotton.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

A regular fit.

We have carefully balanced the loose and flowing fit of this shirt with specific fit points to create a relaxed but fitted style. The main fit points to check are in the neck and across the bust for the best fit. Expect the linen to soften a little with wear, but we recommend taking your usual size for the best fit.
