The playful ruffled sleeves distinguish our Aiva Dress in a unique take on the classic shirt dress, crafted from 100% smooth organic cotton. A loosely fitted style this softly feminine piece features concealed buttons that finish at the waist. Fine elastic at the sides of the waist creates subtle shape before it flows out into a fuller skirt. Mix it up with heels for a dressier look or pair with slides or sneakers for comfortable everyday wear.

Material

100% Organic Cotton

This fabric has a smooth, matte surface with a structured form giving the final garment a sophisticated, crisp appearance. Cotton fabrics are cool, comfortable and breathable.

Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.

The organic cotton for this fabric was sourced from India.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits. 

Size and Fit

This dress has a relaxed fit on the upper body and then a regular fit from the waist down with a relaxed skirt. The key fit points to check for best size are waist, seam and the length.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
