The Ativ Skirt is a linen wrap-style skirt featuring wide pleats all around, and an asymmetrical D-ring belt. Secured at the waist by a fixed waistband with two internal button positions for adjustment, this is crafted from a heavier weight French linen, adding to the drape of the full-length skirt.

Material

100% Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

The Ativ Skirt is a regular fit through the waist with two internal button positions for adjustment. The skirt is a regular fit in the hip, and it opens into a fuller skirt opening. The key fit points for the skirt are the waist, hip and length.
