The Janik Top is a round-neck top with a high sleeve opening that still provides coverage on the front and back of the arm. The print is an update to the classic check.This fabric has a slight sheen with a crepey feel, and has good drape to it. Style note: this print is yardage, so each piece will have a unique print placement.

Material

100% Viscose

This textured fabric is a slightly heavier weight, making it great for winter garments. The viscose still offers a soft drape to the finished fabric.

We are working with not-for-profit organisation Canopy to ensure that all our forest-based fabrics are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry and preference those with a green shirt ranking according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. This report guides us in ensuring our viscose products have a low risk of being sourced from ancient and endangered forests.

Our traceability systems confirm the viscose fibres in this garment are from green shirt rated producers.

Maker

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production. They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory. They are actively assisting us with communication between fibre producers and mills to help us source materials that meet our ELK Preferred Material guidelines.

Yao Fa Garment Factory are a member of Sedex and have undergone a SMETA social compliance audit.

Cold hand wash using eco-friendly detergent.
Do not machine wash (even on delicate cycle).
Do not soak, rub, wring or spin dry.
Drip dry in shade.
Warm iron on reverse.
1cm to 3cm shrinkage in length will occur on the first wash.
Once ironed the fabric will relax and return to original hand feel and appearance.
