The Aart Skirt is a high-waisted A-line style crafted from a crisp, soft organic cotton. Inspired by contemporary art, the skirt features the Suma Print of vibrant, layered graphic shapes. A regular fit skirt with a fitted waistband and elasticated back for extra comfort and ease. It's finished with front side pleats, an invisible centre back zip, along with side-seam pockets. Pair with simple tops like our Kruis Tee or fitted knits, like our Luft Lurex Knit, or Ellora Sweater, or for a statement print ensemble the Kyle Tee in the matching Suma Print.

90% Organic Cotton 10% Nylon

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, and reduce water and nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton.

Nylon is a synthetic, man-made fibre, which is both durable and easy to care for.

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
