The Dacein Dress is sweet shirt dress with an elevated edge, crafted from soft organic cotton poplin. This regular fit style features a gathered elasticated waist at the back to nip and flatter the waist and contrasting top-stitching detailing, adding a modern edge. This above-the-knee dress has a standard shirt collar, button up front placket to the waist seam, and cuffed short wide batwing sleeves, finished with tucks adding a subtle feminine touch. Finished with practical side seam pockets, this short dress is perfect for weekend or work looks. Style with flats or sandals for comfortable day to night outfits.

100% Organic Cotton

Cotton is a natural plant fibre known for its softness, breathability, and durability, making it a staple for everyday wear. This fabrication has a flat finish.

Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, protect waterways and and reduce water & nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton. The cotton fibre in this fabric was organically grown in India.

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production.

They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.
