100% Merino Wool.

This garment has been crafted from a soft merino wool yarn. Merino wool is a very fine wool fibre that creates a soft, fluffy finish. It is breathable and temperature regulating, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Wool is naturally renewable and biodegradable. This garment is recyclable where local options are available.

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
