The Llinen Top is crafted from 100% French linen and features the striking Ortler Print in rich green with crisp white stripes. This breathable, natural fabric has a light, textured feel that softens beautifully with wear. Cut with a regular fit through the body and a subtle A-line shape at the hem, this cropped style features half-length set-in sleeves and a corozo button at the centre back keyhole closure. A fresh warm-weather top that pairs beautifully with high-waisted pants or skirts.

100% French Linen

Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Linen is a natural plant fibre, grown from the flax plant. The crop itself is naturally pest-resistant and requires minimal water to grow, meaning it demands fewer resources than crops such as conventionally-grown cotton.

Linen grown in France follows more traditional methods of growing and processing. For example, the crop is stripped back to prepare it for textiles using a dew-retting process. Dew-retting makes use of natural sunlight and dew to soften the crop, rather than using intensive chemical or water processes.

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production.

They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.
