The Decla Jean is a mid-rise, wide leg silhouetted jean. Crafted from a mid-heavy weight organic cotton and French linen blend denim with structure. This regular fit jean features tailored front pleats, belt loops and side welt pockets. Pair this dark denim jean with your favourite tee or shirt and complete the look with the Decla Denim Jacket for a statement full denim set. 55% Organic Cotton 45% French Linen

A blend of breathable fibres, this densely woven denim provides a sophisticated, structured finish.

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, protect waterways and and reduce water & nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton. The cotton fibre in this fabric was organically grown in India.

Linen is a natural plant fibre, grown from the flax plant. The crop itself is naturally pest-resistant and requires minimal water to grow, meaning it demands fewer resources than crops such as conventionally-grown cotton. Linen grown in France follows more traditional methods of growing and processing. For example, the crop is stripped back to prepare it for textiles using a dew-retting process. Dew-retting makes use of natural sunlight and dew to soften the crop, rather than using intensive chemical or water processes.

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production.

They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.

    Comfy Jeans

    I have several styles of jeans but love these for a comfortable and different take on the usual straight leg jeans. Good length, not too long and well made. Love the dark blue. Tjese will get a lot of use this winter.

    Not for short curvy girls!

    These jeans are nicely made, stylish, good heavy fabric, etc. But they did really did not work on my body type”Im 160cm and hourglass. There was just SO MUCH FABRIC that they didnt fall nicely and were very unflattering. As my mother would say They dont do a thing for you.  I was sad but had to send them back. Are better for taller, less curvy women I suspect.

    Huge sizes help no one

    I love the jacket and pants, but both are too big ( even with swapping the jacket for a smaller size). I will probably get the waist of the trousers altered to be smaller.

    I ordered online and followed the size guide on your site. I ordered WAY too big. Please provide actual garment measurements ( waist, armpit to armpit, seat and leg length) if your body size guide measurements are not reflective of the garment size.

    Love the quality fabric and style as always.

    Lovely style of Jean!

    I love the style of this Jean, especially the pleat detail at the front. Unfortunately, I had to return as the size 6 was too small and the size 8 was too big. I wish there was an in-between size. or that ELK offered complimentary alterations

    I did but the matching jacket as kept this as I love and it fits well!

    Unfortunately

    Unfortunately your beautiful Decla jeans did not fit me. I am only 5ft. 2 inches tall so far too long and big in other places. I had my eye on those jeans for awhile and decided to but Unfortunately. Love your clothing :
