Cotton is a natural fibre. It is known for ebing breathable, durable and soft.

TENCEL™ Lyocell x REFIBRA™ is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF) derived from a combination of sustainably sourced wood pulp and a minimum of 30% recycled cotton waste. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.

TENCEL™ Lyocell x REFIBRA™ fibres are made using an environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibres using high resource efficiency and low environmental impact compared to conventional methods of production. The spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of 99.8%.

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
