Polyester is a synthetic, man-made fibre, which is both durable and easy to care for. Unlike its virgin counterpart, this recycled polyester is made from pre-consumer and post-consumer plastic waste which is deconstructed and then remanufactured into a textile fibre. Recycled polyester also has a lower carbon footprint compared to virgin polyester.

Wool is a natural animal fibre. It is known for maintaining warmth while offering breathability, making it a comfortable fibre for layering. The wool for this fibre has been sourced from farms that meet global best-practice standards for responsible husbandry practices which ensure that the sheep are treated with respect and that due environmental care of agricultural land, soil health, waterways and biodiversity is taken.

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft.

Nylon is a synthetic, man-made fibre, which is both durable and easy to care for.

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production.

They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.
