100% Acetate (NAIA™)

This fabric features a lustrous finish, fluid drape, subtle sheen, and a cool touch, offering both sustainability and elegance.

Crafted from 100% NAIA™ Acetate, a responsibly sourced cellulosic fibre by Eastman. NAIA™ is produced using closed-loop methods, where water and solvents are recovered and reused, ensuring a lower environmental impact. Fully traceable with strict forest sourcing policies, NAIA™ materials have very low risk of originating from ancient or endangered forests.

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production.

They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.

    Interesting name

    Description very much the same as the dress presents. A very comfortable and graceful garment. When I tried it on, I was most impressed it just felt right and a perfect, for the occasion that I purchased it for. When I arrived home and laid it out to give it a further inspection i noticed some aspects to it that I hadn't noticed nor had time to look at thoroughly in the store. I came to the conclusion that the garment was not new, there was evidence to me that it had been worn previously. That was most disappointing. Purchasing at the store and online, shows that I support your ethical considerations. However, if I am pay a price for a product, I do expect it to be worth the money I have paid for it. This is an ethical decision as it leaves me with no choice other than to return the garment to the store and request a refund. Thank you for asking.
