We are excited to participate in M/FW's 30th anniversary runway, a fitting way to celebrate ELK's 20 years in the fashion industry.
For the runway, we’ve collaborated with renowned Melbourne Creative Fashion Practitioner, Remie Cibis to create three exclusive, one-of-a-kind looks.
Working closely with ELK’s Head of Creative, Amadio Collafella and Co-Founder, Marnie Goding, this partnership reimagines three signature design elements central to ELK’s unique aesthetic: White, Green, and Print.
This collaboration draws inspiration from Remie’s exceptional ability to deconstruct patterns and reconstruct them in unique ways, with ELK’s creative design approach, creating the perfect union of fashion and art.
These designs showcase our commitment to sustainable fashion by repurposing remnant fabrics and reimagining classic garments into sculptural, form-flattering pieces. Each look represents ELK’s dedication to innovation, layering, and creating timeless, wearable art.
ABOUT REMIE CIBIS
Remie Cibis is a Creative Fashion Practitioner and Associate Lecturer at RMIT University, Melbourne. Her work pushes the boundaries of garment making, creating wearable collages that explore fashion imagery and how the wearer interacts with clothing. Her research explores how clothes function as images and what this means for wearers. Through garment-making, performance, photography, and workshops, she investigates how fashion-images are created and designs new ways for wearers to shape their own representations.

SNEAK PEAK: INTO THE THREE LOOKS
(before they hit the runway)
We are known at ELK for creating basics with a twist. Our Flikrin Shirt embodies the essence of a classic design but with a unique twist in the tail and flow. Crafted from smooth, organic cotton in classic white, it reflects our love for responsible fibres and clean, Scandi-inspired sensibilities. In this garment, two pieces come together to create even more impact, while delivering on the wearable intention that is synonymous with ELK.
Colour, print, and texture define ELK designs, with shades of green—especially emerald—being a standout. This piece is crafted from three of our Parq Jumpsuits, designed to honour this distinct ELK green and our love for clever layering. Jumpsuits have long been a staple of ELK, celebrated for their versatility, ease of wear, and ability to create a complete, effortless look.
Known for our bold, signature prints featured across every collection, we continually reimagine designs with sustainability in mind. This piece was crafted from our Emmi Dress in our iconic box print, sourced through ELK RE(NEW)—our circularity program where customers can return old ELK garments to be refurbished, resold, or recycled. By repurposing high-quality fabrics, we extend the life of these beloved prints while reducing waste.
