The Albers Jacket cut is a new ELK favourite jacket design, featuring a customisable gathered waist silhouette and thoughtful design details. A relaxed fit with concealed button-through placket and adjustable internal drawstring creates a flattering gathered waist. A high funnel collar and underarm gusset provide comfort and ease, while back batwing sleeves create clean lines. Crafted from midweight, textured organic cotton in a dark denim, blue-grey wash. Pair with the matching Albers Pant for a coordinated statement suit or style with printed bottoms like our trousers like Aart Skirt or our Paimo Light Pant in the Suma Line Print.

We have been working with Jimmy Fashions since 2010. They are a smaller, independent supplier with a focus on design and quality, and this is one of our longest standing supplier relationships. With owner Jimmy Shen and his team working closely with our Design and Production departments, this family-owned business has grown with ELK and now supplies much of our woven apparel.

In early 2024, Jimmy installed rooftop solar panels on his factory, and estimates more than 50% of the factory's electricity to come from this renewable source. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
