The Gerber Dress is a modern take on a classic denim shirt dress, crafted from 100% organic cotton. Utility and workwear inspired, this regular fit dress has a classic collar with centre front placket with flat metal press-stud buttons, and long set-in sleeves with press stud cuffs. The gently fitted waistband with belt loops, back yoke with centre box pleat, and front and back pockets add structure and definition. The softly flared skirt with rounded side-seam pockets falls to midi length. A timeless, versatile and hard working denim dress for year-round styling.

Made in organically-grown soft leightweight organic cotton denim.

Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, protect waterways and and reduce water & nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton.

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production.

They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.
