Bharat have been making leather designs for us since 2017. Bharat are a larger operation and use their influence to improve their environmental and social performance.

Bharat have also invested in new computerised technology for mapping and cutting pieces from leather hides. This increases energy efficiency, reduces waste, and minimises risk of worker injury at the cutting stage of production.

Bharat are members of the Worldly HIGG platform, where they report on electricity, water, waste and chemical impact. The factory also undergoes annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages.
