Linen culotte.

Made from 100% French linen, the Vassa Culotte features a flat front waistband, angled front pockets and faux cuff detail for a casually tailored look. Elasticated at the back of the waist for comfort, this slightly cropped pant also has an internal tie to adjust the waist to fit.

• The Vassa Culotte has a regular fit waistband and hip with a wide leg opening, and a slightly cropped length—designed to hit at or just above the ankle bone. The waistband is flat at the front with an internal tie, and elasticated at the back. The key fit points for this pant are the waist, hip and length.

100% Linen


This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales, established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production.

They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Yao Fa Garment Factory.

Yao Fa Garment Factory undergo annual SMETA social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They are also measuring their environmental impact through tracking their electricity use. In 2023, the factory's investment in Renewable Energy Certificates meant that they operated on 100% renewable electricity.
