The Svinge Knit Pant is an elevated knit pant with a slight bootcut shape to the leg opening. This full-length pant has an elastic, pull-on style waistband. Crafted from a soft knit, this pant has an elegant drape and shape to it.

Material

65% ECOVERO™ Viscose 25% Recycled Polyester 10% Recycled Nylon

A smooth-surfaced yarn, this finished fabric has a soft structure supported by the compact nature of the knit. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres are derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certified and controlled sources.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres have been certified with the EU Ecolabel for textile products (license no. AT/016/001) as meeting high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The manufacturing of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. According to Higg's life cycle impact assessment data, CO2 emissions and fossil resource use are approximately half that of the industry average.

A special manufacturing system enables LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres to be identified in the final product, even after long textile processing and conversion steps through the value chain.

Recycled polyester and recycled nylon are lower impact materials compared to their virgin counterparts, and are made from post-industrial and post-consumer waste like plastic bottles. We choose to use recycled rather than new as part of our commitment to use preferred fibres according to our ELK Preferred Materials Guide.

Maker

This knit was made in Dongguan, China by Cool Partners International who we have been working with since 2016. It was manufactured in the Dongguan Kinci Knitting Factory, established in 1992, which we have visited to see our items in production. Knitwear production is highly specialised and Cool Partners are actively working with us to source more sustainable yarns from progressive yarn mills such as UPW and Novetex.

The factory is a member of Sedex and undergoes regular social compliance audits.

• Do not use other forms of heat when drying.
